KA210 YOU
Green Eco Act
Erasmus plus KA210 YOU Green Eco Act project is designed to generate a multidimensional and sustainable impact on participating youth, partner organizations, and the wider community by strengthening competencies in environmental education and encouraging active civic engagement in ecological initiatives. One of the core anticipated outcomes is the successful implementation of three structured Eco actions, conducted through non-formal and experiential learning methodologies that actively involve young people from diverse social, cultural, and economic backgrounds. These activities will not only increase their environmental awareness but will also enhance their practical skills in planning, managing, and participating in community-based ecological initiatives. Through their involvement, young participants—particularly those with fewer opportunities—will gain a stronger sense of empowerment, responsibility, and belonging within their local communities.
A significant component of the project’s impact lies in the systematic exchange of national practices in the field of environmental protection among the three participating EU organizations. This transfer of knowledge is expected to strengthen organizational capacity, deepen understanding of effective eco-education methodologies, and foster long-term cooperation. The exchange process will support the development of improved strategies for youth engagement, greener organizational practices, and innovative approaches that promote sustainable behavior. The collaborative creation of a structured educational output—Green Practices for a Green Future—will serve as a concrete result of this knowledge exchange. The material will be applicable beyond the project timeline, ensuring long-term value and usability in future trainings, workshops, and youth activities.
In addition, the project will create a strong visibility and awareness-raising dimension. Through the management and implementation of an online public campaign, complemented by three targeted dissemination events, the project aims to increase public understanding of environmental challenges and highlight youth contributions to environmental protection. These dissemination activities will strategically engage local communities, stakeholders, educational institutions, and decision-makers, broadening the project’s outreach and promoting a culture of ecological responsibility at both local and European levels.
The organization of one transnational meeting, including an educational practical visit, will reinforce the intercultural dimension of the project by facilitating direct exchange, networking, and hands-on learning among youth leaders and staff members. This meeting will strengthen the partnership structure, support the practical application of the educational output, and ensure a unified approach in implementing high-quality eco-educational activities across the partner organizations.
Overall, the project is expected to contribute significantly to the personal development of participating youth, the professional growth of youth workers, and the organizational capacity of partner institutions. Through its diverse activities and tangible outputs, the GEA initiative will promote environmental stewardship, foster social inclusion, and stimulate long-term engagement in sustainable practices, thereby ensuring meaningful and lasting impact well beyond the project’s duration.
